During his tenure, he was a founder of the Northern Virginia leasing team and built a healthcare practice group from the ground up. He is credited with negotiating over 3.1 million square feet of lease and sale transactions with an aggregate value of over $525 million. Prior to his time at CBRE, Carter was a market analyst with Insignia/ESG, which merged with CBRE in 2003.
