Brandy has served chiropractic and multi-discipline practices since 1999. Interview with the First Lady of Chiropractic w/ guest Dr. Sherry McAllister, DC

Dr. Jay and Brad had the honor to interview the First Lady of Chiropractic, Dr. Sherry McAllister, DC.
Sherry McAllister, DC, M.S. (Ed) CCSP, serves as the President for the Foundation for Chiropractic Progress, the national not-for-profit organization showcasing the benefits of chiropractic care across multiple platforms. The Foundation for Chiropractic Progress was founded in 2003 and is dedicated to building awareness regarding the benefits of chiropractic care and its role in drug-free pain management.
Dr. McAllister earned her Master’s in Education from the University of California East Bay and is a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic West, where she served as an Associate Professor. Recently appointed to Forbes Non-Profit Council. 
She is a frequent guest speaker for National conventions, Corporate Wellness Programs, as well as Business and Healthcare Alliances.

The End of Your Fork w/ guest Dr. Anya Szigeti, DC, DABCI, MBA

This week on TechTalk, Dr. Jay and Brad sit down with the founder of The Szigeti Method and the best-selling author of “You Can’t Outrun Your Fork,” Dr. Anya Szigeti, DC. “You Can’t Outrun Your Fork” is a guidebook on nutrition, healthy living and your optimal diet.
Dr. Szigeti is a graduate of the United States Coast Guard Academy, and she is the first African-American Woman (Anya F. Hughes) to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from USCGA. She earned her Masters in Business Administration from Grantham University.  From there, she attended National University of Health Sciences in St. Petersburg, Florida. During her time spent there, Dr. Szigeti completed the coursework and is currently board eligible for both the Diplomate of the American Board of Chiropractic Internists (DABCI) and the Diplomate of the American Clinical Board of Nutrition (DACBN).
She also completed her certification in Acupuncture. Dr. Szigeti is an adjunct professor at St. Petersburg College, a functional medicine professional consultant, the director of a nutrition education program titled Healthy Eating for a Health Waistline, a practicing chiropractor, and the CEO and founder of Back to Health Functional Medicine.
Back to Health Functional Medicine was created following Dr. Anya Szigeti’s own battle with an autoimmune disease, Hashimoto Thyroiditis, and her journey back to health. Elevating Healthcare Hospitality w/ guest Dr. Stowe Shoemaker, PhD

Dr. Jay and Brad had the pleasure of interviewing a co-author of “Hospitable Healthcare: Just What the Patient Ordered,” Dr. Stowe Shoemaker, PhD.
Dr. Stowe Shoemaker (PhD, Cornell University) is the former dean of the William F. Harrah College of Hospitality at University of Nevada, Las Vegas where he held the Andrew and Peggy Cherng Dean’s Chair. He began his deanship on July 1, 2013 and it ended June 30, 2023. The College of Hospitality is currently ranked the number one hospitality program in the US and number two in the world. Dr Shoemaker is currently special assistant to the President of the UNLV Foundation.
From 1996 to 2020, Dr. Shoemaker served as a member of the executive education faculty at the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University where he taught courses in strategy, service operations, strategic pricing, revenue management, strategic marketing, customer loyalty and consumer behavior.
Dr. Shoemaker has published two marketing textbooks: “Marketing Leadership in Hospitality and Tourism: Strategies and Tactics for a Competitive Advantage” and “Marketing Essentials in Hospitality and Tourism: Foundations and Practices.” He recently co-authored a book titled "Hospitable Healthcare: Just What the Patient Ordered." He has published numerous articles, and his research has won multiple awards. His Harvard Business School case study on Hilton HHonors has been used by organizations and schools around the world.
Dr. Shoemaker has served as an advisor to numerous hospitality service providers over the course of his career including IGT, British Airways, Accor, Hilton, Landry’s, and Hyatt. He has helped game developers test market new casino games (both slots and table games), developed pricing strategies for airlines, hotels and restaurants, developed programs to measure customer satisfaction, modeled the successes and failures of marketing programs, and developed segmentation strategies based on consumer motivations in the gaming, lodging and restaurant industries.
Dr. Shoemaker has applied his knowledge of hospitality to help healthcare professionals improve patient satisfaction. He held a joint appointment at MD Anderson Cancer Center from 2010 to 2012 and also worked with Memorial Healthcare Systems, Houston. In Las Vegas, Dr Shoemaker has worked with Mountain View Hospital and is currently introducing hospitality principles to the curriculum of the new UNLV College of Medicine. His research in the healthcare field has appeared in the Journal of the American College of Radiology.
