On this week’s TechTalk episode, Dr. Jay and Brad had the pleasure of interviewing, T.J. Waggoner, a true color vision expert with years of experience.
Terrace L. Waggoner Jr., who goes by T.J., is the CEO and Co-Founder of Waggoner Diagnostics. He has been developing medical devices for approximately 10 years and has an impressive background in strategy, product development, marketing, operations and consulting.
T.J. Waggoner has an undergraduate degree in Psychology, a Masters of Business Administration, and a Masters of Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of West Florida. T.J. has completed his coursework for a Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior but he continues the painful process of checking all the boxes to finally obtain his Ph.D. from Claremont Graduate University.
T.J. fell into ophthalmic medical devices because of his father, Dr. Terrace Waggoner and believes that not having an educational background in engineering or medicine has allowed him to think outside the box and create devices where other individuals saw too many constraints.
The Waggoner Diagnostics suite of color vision tests is the only cross-platform suite of color vision products available on the market today. The company is able to satisfy anyone interested in performing color vision tests, both screening and diagnostic, by providing traditional booklets (PIP), computerized color vision tests (App), and Internet-based testing (Web). With over 16 years of experience as an engineer and consultant, Jason currently serves as the Vice President of Engineering at Mindgrub Technologies. Here, Jason oversees the company’s web and mobile engineering teams while providing technical direction for strategic client initiatives.
Jason is a veteran of multiple business sectors and has strong experience with Drupal, Javascript, and mobile application development.
Before joining Mindgrub, Jason was a partner in a New Orleans based web consulting firm that completed projects for Michael Jackson, the City of New Orleans, and Dillard University.
A New Orleans native, Jason studied Marketing and Computer Science at the University of New Orleans and is currently pursuing an Executive MBA from Villanova University.
Jason has trained development professionals and has spoken publicly about cutting-edge technology for over ten years as an educator.

As a regulator and policy maker, Dr. Keita Vanterpool serves as Chair of the Washington, DC Board of Chiropractic and as the first African American woman and First elected official on the Federation of Chiropractic Licensing Board, (FCLB), and National Board of Chiropractic Examiners, (NBCE). Dr. Keita Vanterpool is presently the Vice President of the FCLB.
Dr. Keita Vanterpool continues to serve with various organizations, such as the Alternate Delegate of the American Chiropractic Association (ACA), a lifetime member of the American Black Chiropractic Association (ABCA), a member of the International Chiropractic Association, a member of Women DC (Chiropractors) and a member of Zeta Phi Beta sorority, Inc.
She also works with the Council on Chiropractic Education (CCE), which is a programmatic accreditation organization for Chiropractic universities.
Dr. Keita Vanterpool has a passion to serve the Chiropractic profession and continues to make an impact in expanding the footprint of diversity within professional leadership.

He completed his undergraduate degree from Northwestern College, chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic, and various other post-graduate courses and certifications in health, wellness, and technique related to natural healthcare.
